Be mindful of what you're planting and where you're planting! Some plants can do well in compacted soil such as Yarrow, Forsythia, Black Eyed Susan, Daylilies, etc. However, many other species do not. Additionally, if you're looking to add life back into your soil, be sure to add a healthy amount of compost. Your plants and neighbours will thank you!
